At For Goodness Cakes we believe in hand crafting incredibly moist, fluffy, and delicious cupcakes for every occasion. We believe in making every bite an experience with layers of flavor. We use the finest ingredients available on the market. Our menu of 51 flavors is designed to rotate around the seasons, using produce from local small farm growers. We think that every time you come into the store you should be able to get something different and exciting. This is why most of our cupcake desserts are made to resemble something else you would crave in a dessert, like our popular crème brulee cupcake. Our Baking Method
Here at For Goodness Cakes we believe that if it's not broken, don't fix it! That is why our cake recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. That's right! We still make the same recipe for red velvet as great great grandma…minus the beet juice! We think that if you can't pronounce the ingredients in something then you shouldn't eat it.
We use wholesome real butter, free range chicken eggs, bourbon vanilla, and a blend of imported specialty cocoa powder. We make every recipe in small batches every single day from 100% scratch, no bags, no boxes, and no high fructose corn syrup here! We use foil wrappers instead of paper wrappers because foil does not leave behind any fibers or residue, unlike paper cups which can stick to the cake and leave them tasting like paper. Another tell-tale sign that For Goodness Cakes holds quality to the highest standard possible is the fact that we use Italian buttercream in the icing, for almost all of our cupcakes. Italian buttercream is based on a cooked meringue using whipped egg whites and sugar syrup.
